Rishikesh is located at a height of about 1360 feet above sea level. It is believed that several yogis and sages lived and practised penance here.

Ladakh, meaning "the Land of High Passes", is situated between the two highest mountain ranges in the world , the Himalayas to the south and the Karakoram to the north , it is india's most remote and sparsely populated region. Ladakh is surrounded by the GREAT HIMALAYAN RANGE and KARAKORAM RANGES including the snowpeaks of NUN(7135mts) and KUN(7087mts) which are the highest peaks of the Kashmir Himalayas. Ladakh was opened for tourist in 1974 & travelling in its remote regions of NUMBRA VALLEY, PANGONG TSO, TSO MORIRI & DHAN HANU is recently opened for travellers. This area has got close cultural & trading relations with Tibet and is described as " LITTLE TIBET". The earliest inhabitants of the region are nomadic tribe of KHAMPAS .

Jeep safari is the easiest, fastest and most comfortable way to explore Ladakh that can cover the most notable and exciting places in one tour and also presents an opportunity to interact with the Ladakhi people. Though the roads are rough, exploring the remote regions of Ladakh on jeep is one of the most popular adventure activities of Ladakh because of the panoramic surroundings and pretty landscapes that can enchant nature lovers with their picture-perfect beauty. The most preferred and yet the toughest jeep safari destinations in Ladakh are Tsmori-Ri, Nubra and Dah Hanu. Khardungla pass is the highest motorable pass in the worls and one would certainly not like to miss the experience. The barren landscape, culturally diverse people, desolate mountains and deep ravines only add to the bewitching beauty of the environs of Ladakh.
